On July 28th, I had the privilege of attending a great event: A Bramer Leon Couture Fashion Show. The collection entitled Lady Sings the Blues was inspired by legendary blues signer Billie Holiday and put a nice modern twist on classic, timeless pieces.

The fashion show, held during Hank Stewart’s 11th Annual White Linen Affair, was preceded with a red carpet hosted by Studio 11 Films, along with light music form harp player Lyrika. There was also spoken word preformed by poet Dichotomy. After the fashion show, there were words from Hank Stewart and special guest Dr. Joseph Lowery, as well as a concert from 5 Men on a Stool.
