👸Miss Alaska, Emma Broyles, is now Miss America 2022!!!🎆
Emma, 20 is the first Miss Alaska to wear the crown of Miss America and first Korean-American to win the competition. Emma is majoring in biomedical sciences at Arizona State University. She graduated from Service High School in Anchorage, Alaska.

This was shocking news to me! Annnd I JUST found out.
For one, I'm originally from Anchorage, AK and so is all my family....Alaska don't win nothin!😄
I grew up watching the Miss America pageants, and literally, we would watch to see Miss Alaska, but no faith for the win {maybe place to 20, maybe lol}. It just didn't happen for Alaska.
So, I'm watching NYFW runways and I'm like, let me see other stage presence in glam. I saw bridal shows and the Miss Universe pageant, in which sharing the costume segment on TFC's Pinterest {Fashion board}. Pageants have always been on my list to host and present.
Next on my scroll, came Miss America 2022. Long story short, I was on the edge of my seat, in disbelief as Emma got closer and closer to her crown. When they said, "Miss America 2022 is Miss Alaska, Emma Broyles", I was hoopin' and hollerin'! Chile I hit that rewind but about 10 times!😂😃 Beautiful moment.
My emotion went a lil something like this:
I believe she won because her personality was how she looks, real.💖
Alaskans are interesting and real {at times real raw lol}😄.
Emma is honest with positive energy, radiating through her personality.
The other ladies were awesome too!💐
