What and where is fashion today?  Who has or holds the fashion vision?  What do people expect from fashion?  These are honest questions.

According to the Google dictionary fashion is a popular trend, especially in styles of dress and ornament of manners of behaviors. With that being said, we must include the definition of style because these two go hand in hand. Style is a manner of doing something.

It’s clear that style is the buy product of fashion. How do we bring these elements to life? Creative designers, manufactures and retailers produce and display the items we must have.  Do you remember the days when it was this simple?

These days…

New fashion insiders include: bloggers, social media influencers, and hobbyist. They have reignited the industry, with new reality and expression.

Designers create the fashions we love {high or low range}. Consumers shop based on item appeal and personal style. This is the fashion vision. Everything else is a by-product of fashion.

Let’s go a step deeper…how do designers create and what do consumers buy?

Designers pull fashion inspiration from everyday people, mostly street style.  Consumers like quality items and trends.

Trends spread via:
  • Magazines
  • Blogs
  • Social Media
  • T.V.
  • Retailers
  • Street
You know, the new hot item or topic. Now let’s piece all this together to see where fashion is going.

Fashion is created by the designers who produce and bring fourth their creations via manufactures and retailers. Designers are influenced by everyday people.  Influences like bloggers, social media personalities and hobbyist do their part by spreading the word.  As a whole, we consume fashion the most through magazines, blogs, social media, and T.V.

This all boils down to the consumer. The vision of fashion is in the hands of the consumerAs fashion continues to move forward and expand, appreciate the consumer!  Think about it.  It’s time for customer service to make a comeback.
